Mini gouache paintings of food and French scenes

I created this small series for an exhibition at North Street Gallery in Bedminster, Bristol. Most of the originals have found new homes, but a couple are still available on my site, along with prints.

For this show I wanted to step away from my usual style and use gouache boldly, applying it thickly on handmade textured paper and leaving the raw edges visible as part of the finished piece.
