Lola’s 20th Birthday Collaboration
Lola's approached me last year with the opportunity to collaborate on their 20th anniversary packaging, celebrating two decades of this iconic British cake brand. The brief centred on birthdays, British tea parties, London, cakes and the idea of coming together, themes I had a lot of fun translating into illustration.
I came up with a few different illustrations around this theme, but we felt a picnic format best encapsulated what we wanted to celebrate. I had a great time mocking up the artwork to see how it could look , it was a genuinely hands-on project, one where I was involved in every step of the process, from initial rough sketches through to final illustrations, mock-ups, and the final design ready for print.
My artwork is now on their packaging in shops and online, alongside their special 20th anniversary flavours.
